             CLIPPER RECEIVES 300MW ORDER FROM BP FOR 2009 DELIVERY





  * Orders of Clipper's Liberty Turbines by BP Alternative Energy North
    America for Delivery between 2007 - 2009 Total 650 MW.

CARPINTERIA, CALIFORNIA - 25 September 2007 - Clipper Windpower Plc, a rapidly
growing manufacturer of advanced wind turbines and developer of wind energy
projects today announced that it will supply 120 units, or 300 MW, of Clipper's
2.5 MW Liberty wind turbines to BP Alternative Energy for delivery in 2009.
This 300 MW transaction is among up to 2,250 MW of wind turbine sales contracts
envisioned in the strategic turbine supply and joint development agreement
between Clipper and BP announced on 14 July 2006.  With the addition of this
latest contract, firm wind turbine sales orders, including wind turbine supply
for a joint development completed under the agreement currently total 650 MW for
deliveries through 2009.
