                             Director Shareholding

The Board has been notified that Mr Albert J Baciocco Jr, a non-executive
director of Clipper Windpower Plc, acquired 18,078 10p ordinary shares,
representing 0.02 per cent of issued shares.  The acquisition was a result of
the partial distribution of 4,200,000 ordinary shares held pursuant to the
custodial agreement in the name of Montecito Bank & Trust established as a
result of the Securities Purchase Agreement dated April 23, 2002 among Clipper
Windpower, Inc., Energy Spectrum Partners II L.P., Energy Spectrum Partners III
L.P., Dehlsen Associates, LLC and James GP Dehlsen.

As a result, Mr Baciocco's total beneficial holding in the Company is 103,078
ordinary shares representing 0.10 per cent of issued share capital of the
Company.
