                       Centurion settles insurance claim

Centurion Electronics plc ("Centurion" or the "Company"), the UK market leader
in the field of in-car audio-visual entertainment, which listed on AIM in
December 2002, announces that yesterday it settled its insurance claim in
relation to a theft of stock last year, for a total of #160,000. In Centurion's
accounts to 30 September 2002, which were included in the AIM admission document
published in November 2002, the cost was treated as an exceptional item, and the
potential recovery was not recognised, in accordance with FRS 12. The amount
will thus be included in the accounts for the year ending 30 September 2003.

Steven Cunningham, Chairman of Centurion, commented "We are delighted to have
settled this claim amicably, which will contribute towards the Company's results
for the year ending September 2003."
