Chromogenex plc today announces that Howard Flight has resigned as a
non-executive director of the Company with effect from 19 March 2008.

The board and team at Chromogenex wish to thank Howard and wish him well for the
future.

The Company is currently in advanced talks with potentially two non-executives
to join the board and will make a further announcement in due course.
