Close Enhanced Commodities Fund Limited (the "Company")

The investment objective of the Company is to provide to shareholders, on the
Redemption Date, a capital amount of 100 pence per Share and a growth amount
equal to two times any percentage increase in the End Value of the Commodity
Portfolio relative to its Start Value. The End Value will be the average value
of the Commodity Portfolio over the one year period ending on 22 February 2010.

The Commodity Portfolio is a notional portfolio of commodities comprising by
value on the Start Date one-third crude oil, one-third gold and one-third
industrial metals (equally weighted between aluminium, copper and zinc).

In accordance with the Company's investment policy, the net proceeds derived by
the Company from the issue of Shares at 100 pence each have been invested in a
portfolio of debt securities which are designed to enable the Company to meet
its investment objectives in respect of the Shares as set out above.

The value of the Commodity Portfolio at 30 December 2005 was 122.67.  If this
was the End Value of the Commodity Portfolio, the final capital entitlement per
share is anticipated to be 145.00 pence.
