CEDAR ANNOUNCES BOARD CHANGE

Cedar announced today that its co-founder Harry Menasche is standing down as a
Main Board Director of the business and will continue to work for the Group
primarily in the development of European partnerships.

In 1978, Harry founded Datascope, a computer services company offering an IBM
Mainframe bureau service. Datascope and Cedar (then Cedardata) joined forces
in 1983. Harry's responsibilities grew into the management of all sales and
marketing activities, and he became a main board director in 1994. He was
educated at Le Rosey, Switzerland and brought up in Jersey, is fluent in a
number of European languages and will now focus his efforts in the
establishment of a successful European operation for Cedar. Initially this
will be in developing relationships with potential partners and carrying out
market research.

Mike Harrison, Managing Director of Cedar said:

"Harry has been instrumental in Cedar's success over the past two decades. He
has developed the sales channel, assisted in a full flotation on the London
Stock Exchange, and remained one of the key personalities in the business and
also in the financial accounting software sector. I am delighted that Harry
is continuing to work full time for the Group, especially in establishing a
network of relationships and partnerships across Europe that will set the
grounds for our future goals. It is important that we have good intelligence
and strong relationships across Europe. Harry's background and European
experience shows he is a natural fit into managing this growth and this is
where we can benefit most from his skills."
