Withdrawal of Credit Rating

On 18 May 2020, S&P Global Ratings withdrew the BBB rating on Wessex Water Services Finance Plc's senior unsecured notes as well as the BBB long-term issuer credit rating on Wessex Water Services Limited (the "Company").

Both withdrawals were at the Company's request following a review by the Company designed to reduce its number of credit ratings from three to two. The resultant decision followed the announcement of a tough price review announced by Ofwat last December which has delivered a need to rationalise the Company's expenditure with third parties such as credit rating agencies.

Wessex Water Services Finance Plc and the Company continue to maintain a long-term senior unsecured rating of Baa1 from Moody's Investors Service and BBB+ from Fitch Ratings .
