Arran Residential Mortgages Funding No. 2 PLC incorporated with limited liability in England and Wales (registered number 5901396) with its registered office at c/o Wilmington Trust SP Services London Limited, Third Floor, 1 Kings Arms Yard, London, EC2R 7AF (the "Issuer") announces its intention to redeem in full the Notes.

It is intended that the Noteholders will be notified of the redemption of the Notes on 22 July 2011 in compliance with Condition 7.3 (Optional Redemption in full) of the Terms and Conditions of the Notes. Such notice will be provided in accordance with Condition 15 (Notice to Noteholders) of the Terms and Conditions of the Notes.

The Issuer wishes to announce that it is intending to redeem the Notes in full on the 20(th) day of September 2011 and following redemption will request that the London Stock Exchange removes the Notes detailed above from the Main Market.

Unless otherwise defined herein, capitalised terms in this announcement have the same meanings as in the Terms and Conditions in respect of the above detailed Notes.

The Issuer is a special purpose vehicle established by The Royal Bank of Scotland plc for the purpose of the issuance of the Notes.
