Neometals Ltd. said Tuesday that its lithium-ion battery recycling joint venture Primobius has secured an order from Mercedes-Benz's recycling subsidiary for an integrated recycling plant.

The mineral project developer said that Primobius will complete front-end engineering for the shredding section of Licular's recycling plant.

Shares in Neometals at 1249 GMT were up 3.50 pence, or 6.3%, at 59.00 pence.
