Siemens Energy AG said Tuesday that it has signed a contract to deliver 114 distribution transformers to MHI Vestas Offshore Wind's Seagreen offshore wind farm in Scotland.

The German energy company said the wind farm will support around 1.3 million homes with a capacity of 1,075 megawatts.

Siemens Energy will supply the 66-kilovolt transformers to the turbines produced by Denmark's MHI Vestas. It expects the wind farm will be ready for use by 2022-23.

Siemens Energy didn't disclose the financial terms of the agreement.
