announce that Richard Weaver and
Danny Mendelson have joined its
executive team. Mr. Weaver and Mr. Mendelson are former executives
of Wise Metals Group LLC based in Muscle
Shoals, Alabama. At HighLight they will be overseeing the
build out of its recycling division and general operations.
Richard Weaver has 43 years
experience in the nonferrous and ferrous metals industry. His last
position was Executive Vice President of Wise Metals Group,
Corporate Development from 2011-2012. Prior to that, he was
Executive Vice President of Wise Metals Group, Non-core businesses
2008-2011. Before he retired last year Mr. Weaver worked at Wise
and its predecessor company for 31 years. At Highlight Mr. Weaver
will serve as an Executive Vice President and COO.
Danny Mendelson was employed by
Wise Metals Group LLC as its Executive Vice President and Chief
Strategic Officer for the past fifteen years. He holds
degrees from the University of Michigan
(BBA), Detroit College of Law
(JD), and Georgetown University Law
Center (LLM). He has been a member of the Michigan and Washington D.C. bars since 1979
(Inactive). He is also a member of the Michigan and Maryland accountant associations (Inactive).
He joins Highlight as an Executive Vice President and will serve as
CEO of the Company's newly formed recycling subsidiary.
