OneLink Corporation (OTCBB:OLNK), a provider of integrated booking and financial settlement services for travel suppliers and their distributors, today announced several major strategic expansion initiatives for its wholly-owned business unit, CCRA International. The subsidiary, which currently packages and markets hotel stays to travelers through a network of 18,000 travel agency members, will begin to actively pursue non-hotel travel services, including car rental and cruise ship bookings, as part of its offerings. It also plans to aggressively build its membership outside the U.S. beginning with a marketing effort in Europe later this year. To lead the new initiatives, OneLink has promoted Mai Meyaart, a veteran travel industry executive, to vice president and managing director of CCRA International. Meyaart originally came to the OneLink subsidiary from American Express, where she was manager of point-of-sale strategies for that company's Preferred Extras Hotel Program. CCRA, acquired by OneLink through its purchase of parent company Reservations Center Inc. in May 2005, is a highly regarded industry organization focused on travel services marketing. The company, recently re-branded as CCRA International, has become a cornerstone of OneLink's flagship booking and settlement service -- a groundbreaking concept that allows travel agents to receive upfront compensation for hotel stays booked through the company's reservations portal. "Using OneLink's technology, CCRA International is changing the way travel agencies do business by giving them new flexibility and control over their cash flow through our prepaid compensation model," said Bill Guerin, chairman and CEO of OneLink Corporation. "From the beginning, our business plan has been to offer a complete range of non-airline travel services including car rental, tours and attractions, cruises and more, in addition to lodging. The success of our plan to date has given us the ability to move forward with today's announcements." Founded in 1993, CCRA is renowned in the travel industry for its ability to package hotel reservations for business and leisure travelers. The company currently offers bookings at over 80,000 properties around the world through a network of 13,000 hotel clients. Its relationships with its hotel clients, along with its travel agency membership base, makes it one of the strongest marketing organizations in the industry. Until now, CCRA has focused its membership recruitment efforts on agencies in North America. It now plans to expand that program, beginning with the U.K. and European markets, via a focused campaign in the second half of 2006. In her new capacity as CCRA International managing director, Meyaart, a 14-year veteran of the travel and tourism industry, will be responsible for securing and maintaining relationships on both sides of the booking process. She will report to David Fromal, chief operating officer of OneLink Corporation. "The power, ease-of-use and business benefits of CCRA's portal has been proven these past several months through its use by thousands of travel agents inside of CCRA's membership," noted Fromal. "Many of the travel industry's largest consortia have partnered with us, giving us a firm foundation for growth. We're pleased that Mai Meyaart, a highly qualified executive, has chosen to help us attain this next level of success."
