OMV's Schwechat Refinery Startup Delayed Due to Incident

OMV AG said Friday that startup of the Schwechat refinery in
Austria will be partially delayed due to a mechanical incident.
The Austrian oil-and-gas major said the main distillation unit
for crude oil was damaged in the incident. The refinery has been
undergoing maintenance turnaround since April 19.
"A review of the extent of the damage and the duration of the
shutdown is still underway," OMV said. "We will work closely with
our customers and suppliers to mitigate any impact on product
availability," it said.
Two people were slightly injured in the incident, according to
the company.
