NOTICE REGARDING APPLICATION FOR DELISTING FROM THE LONDON STOCK EXCHANGE
On February 6, 2014, the registrant filed with the Tokyo Stock Exchange a notice regarding an application for delisting of its
shares from the London Stock Exchange.

Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation (NTT) hereby announces that, at a meeting of its board of directors held today, NTT resolved to apply
for voluntary delisting of its shares from the London Stock Exchange, as further discussed below.

Reason for the Application for Delisting:

NTT has decided to apply for voluntary delisting of its shares from
the London Stock Exchange as the volume of trading in NTT shares on the London Stock Exchange is low and because NTT believes that the impact on its shareholders from delisting from the London Stock Exchange will be minimal.
