Merck KGaA to Build Electronics Technology Center in China

Merck KGaA said Friday that it will invest 18 million euros
($21.3 million) in the construction of an electronics technology
center in China.
The German pharmaceutical and chemicals company said it has
signed a memorandum of understanding with Shanghai Pudong
Government for this purpose.
The center is expected to open during the first half of 2022,
Merck said.
"Merck will provide local customers with comprehensive
technology services and customized solutions to enable more and
faster innovative electronic applications contributing to the
advancement of China's electronics industry," the company said.
