PR Newswire (Canada)
CALGARY, June 25, 2012 /CNW/ - The Honourable Nick Taylor,
President and CEO of Softrockminerals of Calgary, Alberta announces
that during the last week the Alberta Government issued the company
four more Metallic and Industrial Permits to bring the total now
held by Softrock to 14 totalling 127,513 hectares equivalent to
315,085 acres. "This completes our acquisition stage in north and
central Alberta, a stage which took us two years to reach using
geochemical fluid analyses, coordinated with radioactive well log
studies and sample and core analyses together with detailed
subsurface studies " Taylor says. 'Our studies show that the Middle
Devonian Elk Point basin in Saskatchewan that holds their huge
potash reserves extends into Alberta but is complicated by two
arches dividing the large basin into two sub-basins ' Taylor states
that now that the geological, geophysical, and geochemical stage
followed by the covering acquisitions are complete, the company is
surveying accessibility to four drilling sites with the aim of
drilling and coring two of them before this winter. We Seek Safe
