announced that Karuna Scheinfeld has
been appointed Chief Product Officer, effective July 2, 2020. An accomplished apparel brand
executive, Ms. Scheinfeld will drive strategic global product
direction and performance for Roots, across men's, women's, kid's,
baby and toddler apparel and accessories, as well as leather goods
and footwear.

Ms. Scheinfeld brings two decades of apparel industry experience
to Roots from a variety of global brands. She joins Roots
from her most recent role as VP of Design at Canada Goose, where
she led the design and development of the brand's full men's and
women's collections across all seasons and product categories.
Prior to that, Ms. Scheinfeld was VP of Design for Woolrich Inc.,
where she was responsible for conceptualizing, designing and
executing the full men's and women's collections across multiple
labels. She has also held senior design leadership roles at
American Eagle Outfitters and Abercrombie & Fitch. Ms.
Scheinfeld started her fashion career with Ralph Lauren and Dolce & Gabbana, and holds
a BFA, Fashion Design from the Parsons School
of Design.
