MONTRÉAL, Sept. 6, 2017 /CNW Telbec/ - Quebecor and TVA Sports are proud to support the 8th edition of the Grands Prix Cyclistes de Québec et de Montréal (GPCQM) as major sponsor and official broadcaster. The world's cycling elite, 160 riders from 30 countries, will meet on September 8 in Québec City and September 10 in Montréal for the only North American stops on the UCI WorldTour. Spectators can experience the excitement at the sites or live on TVA Sports.

This year, spectators will have a chance to see a host of great athletes, including two-time world champion and Olympic champion Peter Sagan (Bora-Hansgrophe), Greg Van Avermaet (BMC RacingTeam), currently #1 in the UCI WorldTour rankings, and Tom Dumoulin (Team Sunweb), winner of the Giro d'Italia. In all, 18 UCI WorldTeams will compete, as well as Canada's national team, led by Ryan Anderson, Antoine Duchesne and 2016 Canadian National Road Race Champion Bruno Langlois, a member of the Garneau-Quebecor pro cycling team.

Announcer Michel Godbout and analyst Randy Ferguson will be in the booth describing the races while Yvan Martineau will be on the ground with the athletes to give viewers the full scoop.
