In a press release issued yesterday by Quebecor Inc.
(TSX:QBR.A)(TSX:QBR.B)("Quebecor"), the following was mentioned:

"Pooling of sales forces at the national level and capital expenditures plan in
the News Media segment in order to increase revenue streams; new contracts
signed with Jean Coutu Group (PJC) Inc., Michael Rossy Ltd., Golf Town,
Metro-Richelieu Inc. and PepsiCo."

Quebecor wishes to clarify that it is not with Metro-Richelieu Inc. that the
News Media Segment had its dealings, but rather with Metro Ontario Inc. Sun
Media Corporation, a subsidiary of Quebecor Media Inc. which already distributed
the flyers of Metro and Food basics in certain territories in Ontario, was
awarded the distribution of these flyers in additional territories in Ontario by
Metro Ontario Inc. during the first quarter of 2011.

We are sorry for any confusion that may have resulted from this misunderstanding.
