Department of Transportation (MDOT) acting through the Maryland
Transit Administration (MTA) has awarded New Flyer with a contract
for 140 Xcelsior® clean diesel, forty-foot
heavy-duty transit buses.
The buses will be deployed on MTA's BaltimoreLink starting 2018,
supporting both CityLink and LocalLink routes that move more than 7
million people per month. MTA fleet expansion is a result of its
focus on delivering safe, efficient, and reliable transit services
across Maryland offering
world-class customer service.
