Directors' Shareholdings

The Company has today been informed that the following Directors have changed
their notifiable interest in the ordinary 5p shares in the Company ("Shares").

Mr E S Moore's Individual Savings Account (ISA) purchased 2,285 Shares (0.0019%)
at 81.50p each on 30 June 2003. Mr Moore now has an interest in a total of
687,159 Shares (0.573%).

Mr T R Jones's ISA purchased 1,684 Shares (0.0014%) at 81.50p each on 30 June
2003. Mr Jones's wife, M L Jones's ISA also purchased 512 Shares (0.000427%) at
