Consumers Energy Prices $150 Million in Insured Quarterly Notes

has priced $150 million of Insured Quarterly Notes, due April 15,
2035. These securities will have a coupon of 5.65 percent, and are
rated AAA by Standard & Poor's and Aaa by Moody's. Further
