Wells Fargo Contributes $250,000 to American Red Cross for Victims
of Southern California Fires LOS ANGELES, Oct. 27
/PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Wells Fargo & Company said today it
will contribute $250,000 to the American Red Cross disaster relief
fund to assist victims of the Southern California wild fires that
have affected Ventura, Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Riverside and
San Diego Counties. "The fires raging throughout Southern
California, from Ventura down to San Diego, have destroyed hundreds
of homes and taken at least a dozen lives," said Laura Schulte,
Wells Fargo regional president for California, Nevada and the
Mexican Border community bank. "Wells Fargo wants to provide as
much help and support as we can for our neighbors, our customers
and our own team members who have been directly affected by this
devastating disaster." Wells Fargo has a total of 346 stores in the
impacted areas of Southern California. All of its stores in Los
Angeles, Ventura, Santa Barbara and San Bernardino Counties are
open today. In San Diego County, a dozen stores are closed due to
