Verizon, Synchrony to Offer Co-Branded Credit Card

Synchrony Financial (SYF) and Verizon Communications Inc. (VZ)
on Thursday said they plan to launch the first credit card designed
specifically for Verizon customers.
Synchrony, a Stamford, Conn., consumer financial services
company, will become the exclusive provider of Verizon's co-branded
consumer credit card under the agreement, the companies said.
Verizon, the largest U.S. wireless carrier by subscribers, and
Synchrony said they expect to launch the new credit card during the
first half of the year.
