Spotify Technology Finance Chief Paul Vogel to Depart

Spotify Technology's Finance Chief Paul Vogel will leave the
company March 31, with the company launching an external search for
his replacement.
The music-streaming platform said Ben Kung, vice president of
financial planning and analysis, would take on financial chief
responsibilities on an interim basis.
Vogel has served as financial chief since January 2020 and
initially joined the company in June 2016.
Chief Executive Daniel Ek said he and Vogel had discussed that
"Spotify is entering a new phase and needs a CFO with a different
mix of experiences."
The announcement comes days after Spotify said it would cut
about 17% of its workforce as it speeds up its push toward
profitability.
