Kan., June 11, 2014 /CNW/ - Spirit AeroSystems
Inc. (NYSE: SPR) today announced it has successfully completed
5,000 Next-Generation 737 deliveries to Boeing. Spirit has been
delivering Next-Generation 737s from Wichita since
1998. The company builds the 737 fuselage, engine struts and
nacelles in Wichita and wing components in its
Tulsa,
Okla. facility.

The 737 is Spirit's largest program. Spirit is currently
delivering 42 737s per month to Boeing. It delivered the first
Next-Generation 737 in 1998 and has delivered more than 8,000 737s
in all, including the 737 Classic.
