Pitney Bowes to Host Innovation@Work Event

What: Pitney Bowes’s Strategic Technology and Innovation Center will host its second Innovation@Work program on October 6, 2010 at World Headquarters in Stamford, Conn. This day-long event is part of the Company’s continuing focus on open innovation and fostering collaboration and will feature presentations from more than 20 innovative small- and medium-sized technology companies as well as senior leaders from Pitney Bowes. In alignment with Pitney Bowes’s technology focus areas, numerous topics will be discussed, including: Customer Communication Management (CCM) technology; data mining and analytics; SaaS-based business process automation; secure transaction systems; and many more.

Why: Developed by the Connecticut Technology Council (CTC), Innovation@Work is a series of events that foster innovation by promoting collaboration, technology sharing, and business development opportunities for early-stage companies and strategically- connected leading technology companies. Previous events in the Innovation@Work program resulted in development of new cooperative technology and marketing activities, and stimulated innovative thinking throughout participating companies.
