Further commemorating its 90th year of innovation, Pitney Bowes
Inc. (NYSE: PBI) today announced its renewed sponsorship of HSM’s
annual World Innovation Forum (WIF). The interactive forum will be
held June 8-9 at the Nokia Theater in New York City, and will
feature presentations by some of the world’s foremost thought
leaders in the field of innovation.
For the second year in a row, Pitney Bowes is sponsoring the
official WIF Bloggers Hub, where more than thirty
innovation-focused bloggers will be covering the event live,
sharing the action, news and their insights from WIF to the global
web audience. Several of Pitney Bowes’s innovation experts,
including Tom Foth, senior fellow, and Bernie Gracy, vice president
of strategy and new business development, will be live blogging and
tweeting from the event on the Pitney Bowes Innovation web
site.
Committed to fostering a culture of innovation with its
customers, partners, employees, and communities, Pitney Bowes also
announced today that it is extending its commitment to literacy and
education by marking its 90th anniversary with a $9,000 donation to
one of three non-profit organizations: buildOn, FIRST, and the
Network For Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE). WIF attendees, as
well as remote participants via social media networks, can learn
more about these organizations and vote for the organization to
receive the $9,000 gift by June 9th at 10 a.m. EDT at
www.pbinnovation.com.
“We are excited to share our 90th anniversary celebrations with
the World Innovation Forum community, and to recognize these
literacy organizations whose missions foster student innovation and
empower young people to make a difference,” said chief marketing
and communications officer, Juanita T. James. “Just as Pitney Bowes
helps enable organizations link their physical and online
communication channels in powerful ways, we’re excited to help link
the physical and online World Innovation Forum communities, and to
help make a difference with our donation for young innovators.”
James will announce the winning organization to receive the
Pitney Bowes contribution at the World Innovation Forum on June 9th
at 11 a.m. EDT. The Twitter community can use the #WIF10 hashtag to
