Marshall Field's Announces Major Store Remodel and Expansion at Twelve Oaks Mall Location MINNEAPOLIS, April 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Marshall Field's today announced plans to remodel its store at the Twelve Oaks Mall in Novi, Mich., and expand the building by 60,000 square feet. The three-level store, which opened in 1977, will undergo a complete renovation of the interior, including new flooring, improved lighting and fixtures, as well as a new ceiling system. The store exterior also will be updated with a more contemporary design. "Following the renovation, guests will find more spacious departments, expanded merchandise assortments, and several new brands to choose from," said Frank Guzzetta, Marshall Field's president and chief executive officer. "We are committed to providing an exceptional shopping experience for our guests and the transformation of our Novi store is an illustration of that commitment." Marshall Field's construction will begin next year and is scheduled to conclude in fall 2007. Once the remodeling project is complete, the store will total almost 300,000 square feet. The expansion and remodel of Marshall Field's Novi store is part of an overall renovation at Twelve Oaks Mall that is being undertaken by Taubman Centers, Inc. the mall's owner and operator.
