Linde Signs Gas Supply Agreement for Semiconductor Facility in Arizona

Linde PLC said Wednesday that it has signed a long-term
agreement with one of the world's largest semiconductor
manufacturers for the supply of industrial gases to a facility in
Phoenix, Ariz.
The industrial gases and engineering company said it will build,
own and operate a complex of onsite plants to supply
ultra-high-purity nitrogen, oxygen and argon at a new
multibillion-dollar manufacturing facility.
Linde said the total investment will be approximately $600
million, with the first plants and supporting infrastructure due to
start up in the second half of 2022.
"We are proud to have been selected as supplier to this major
new facility... supporting the significant expansion of our
customer's manufacturing capacity in the U.S.," Dan Yankowski,
President, Linde Gases North America said.
