Jacobs Awarded Contract from Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE:JEC) announced today that it
has been awarded a contract by the Central Texas Regional Mobility
Authority (Mobility Authority) for road projects located in the
MoPac South corridor in Austin, Texas.
Mobility Authority officials estimate the contract value at $6
million.
Under the terms of the contract, Jacobs is managing
environmental and preliminary engineering services as well as
public involvement efforts related to the development of
approximately nine miles of roadway and overpasses in the MoPac
corridor.
The Project Team is comprised of staff from the Mobility
Authority, Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), the General
Engineering Consultant (GEC), specialty consultants, and Jacobs,
all of whom are working together as a single team to deliver the
project.
Jacobs’ scope of work includes alternatives development and
evaluation, environmental studies, public involvement, preliminary
engineering, field survey, hydraulic studies, and schematic
development.
In making the announcement, Jacobs Group Vice President Kevin
