Jacobs Receives $30 Million Contract From the Architect of the Capitol

PASADENA, Calif., Dec. 14, 2010 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE: JEC) announced today that it received a contract to provide construction management services (CMS) for the Architect of the Capitol (AOC), the federal agency responsible for the maintenance, operation, development and preservation of the United States Capitol complex in Washington, D.C.

The total contract value is estimated at $30 million. The contract period includes one base year and four option years, with each work period valued at $6 million.

Jacobs' scope of work for the project includes construction management, inspection, scheduling, claims analysis/claims defense, quality control, testing and inspection, preparation of change order packages including estimates, and value engineering.
