HOUSTON, June 24, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Invesco California Insured Municipal Income Trust (IIC), Invesco California Quality Municipal Securities (IQC) and Invesco Insured California Municipal Securities (ICS) announced the addition of Stephen Turman and Julius Williams to their portfolio management teams.

Invesco Insured Municipal Bond Trust (IMC), Invesco Insured Municipal Income Trust (IIM), Invesco Insured Municipal Securities (IMS), Invesco Insured Municipal Trust (IMT), Invesco Municipal Premium Income Trust (PIA), Invesco Quality Municipal Income Trust (IQI), Invesco Quality Municipal Investment Trust (IQT) and Invesco Quality Municipal Securities (IQM) announced the addition of Richard Berry and Stephen Turman to their portfolio management teams.

Invesco Municipal Income Opportunities Trust (OIA), Invesco Municipal Income Opportunities Trust II (OIB) and Invesco Municipal Income Opportunities Trust III (OIC) announced the addition of Gerard Pollard and Franklin Ruben to their portfolio management teams.

Invesco New York Quality Municipal Securities (IQN) announced the addition of Thomas Byron, Stephen Turman and Robert Wimmel to its portfolio management team.

Effective June 28, 2011, Robert Stryker will no longer serve as portfolio manager on OIA, OIB and OIC.  Additionally, Mark Paris will no longer serve as portfolio manager on IQN.

Investment management decisions for each Trust are made by the applicable portfolio management team at Invesco Advisers, Inc. (Invesco).

Effective June 28, 2011, the following individuals are responsible for the day-to-day management of each Trust's portfolio:

• Richard Berry, Portfolio Manager, has been associated with Invesco and/or its affiliates since 1987.

• William Black, Portfolio Manager, has been associated with Invesco and/or its affiliates since 2010.  From 1998 to 2010, Mr. Black was associated with Van Kampen Asset Management and/or its affiliates in an investment management capacity.  

• Thomas Byron, Portfolio Manager, has been associated with Invesco and/or its affiliates since 2010.  From 1981 to 2010, Mr. Byron was associated with Van Kampen Asset Management and/or its affiliates in an investment management capacity.

• Mark Paris, Portfolio Manager, has been with Invesco and/or its affiliates since 2010. From 2002 to 2010, Mr. Paris was associated with Van Kampen Asset Management and/or its affiliates in an investment management capacity.

• James Phillips, Portfolio Manager, has been associated with Invesco and/or its affiliates since 2010.  From 1991 to 2010, Mr. Phillips was associated with Van Kampen Asset Management and/or its affiliates in an investment management capacity.  

• Gerard Pollard, Portfolio Manager, has been associated with Invesco and/or its affiliates since 1998.

• Franklin Ruben, Portfolio Manager, has been associated with Invesco and/or its affiliates since 1997.

• Robert Stryker, Portfolio Manager, has been associated with Invesco and/or its affiliates since 2010.  From 1994 to 2010, Mr. Stryker was associated with Van Kampen Asset Management and/or its affiliates in an investment management capacity.

• Stephen Turman, Portfolio Manager, has been associated with Invesco and/or its affiliates since 1985.

• Julius Williams, Portfolio Manager, has been associated with Invesco and/or its affiliates since 2010. From 2000 to 2010, Mr. Williams was associated with Van Kampen Asset Management and/or its affiliates in an investment management capacity.

• Robert Wimmel, Portfolio Manager, has been associated with Invesco and/or its affiliates since 2010.  From 1996 to 2010, Mr. Wimmel was associated with Van Kampen Asset Management and/or its affiliates in an investment management capacity.
