HSBC Hires From Rivals Including Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan Chase -Bloomberg

--HSBC Holdings Plc has made a number of hires from rivals,
including Goldman Sachs Group Inc., as HSBC revamps its equities
business in the Asia-Pacific region, Bloomberg reports, citing
unnamed sources.
--Among the new hires is Michael Parry, who joins from Goldman
Sachs as a director focused on Asian equity sales, says
Bloomberg.
--Other hires include Liu Kang, who was at Goldman Sachs's
Chinese partner Beijing Gao Hua Securities Co., and Jimmy He, who
joined HSBC's equity sales team from China International Capital
Corp. last month, according to Bloomberg.
--Other additions include Michele Kwok, formerly with JPMorgan
Chase & Co., who joined HSBC's Hong Kong and China equity sales
team, and Mark Ong, most recently with CLSA Ltd., says
Bloomberg.
