Generac Announces Appointment of Tim Sullivan to the Board of Directors

Generac Holdings Inc. (NYSE: GNRC), a leading designer and
manufacturer of generators and other engine powered products, today
announced the appointment of Tim Sullivan as a member of its Board
of Directors. Mr. Sullivan will also join the Compensation
Committee of the Board.

Mr. Sullivan currently serves as a special consultant to
Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker and as an Executive Advisor to CCMP
Capital. Mr. Sullivan previously served as President and CEO of
Bucyrus International, Inc. from 2004 to 2011 and also served as
President and COO from 2000 to 2004. Prior to Bucyrus
International, Inc., he was President and CEO of United Container
Company from 1999 to 2000. From 1976 to 1998, Mr. Sullivan worked
for Bucyrus in a series of operating and management roles. He
presently serves as a Trustee and Non-Executive Director of
Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company and sits on the Board of
Directors of the Bucyrus Foundation, Aurora Health Care, Inc.,
Carroll University, Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce,
and St. Ann Center for Intergenerational Care. Mr. Sullivan earned
a B.S. in Business Administration from Carroll College as well as a
master’s degree in International Management from the American
Graduate School of International Management.
