Constellation Energy Donates ATVs to Natural Resources Police;
Vehicles Will Be Used to Patrol Remote Areas BALTIMORE, Nov. 29
/PRNewswire/ -- Constellation Energy (NYSE:CEG) today announced the
donation of two all terrain vehicles (ATVs) to the Maryland Natural
Resources Police (NRP), which will be used in patrolling limited
access roads and properties in power line rights-of-way. The ATVs,
valued at $13,600, will be used in Prince George's, Anne Arundel,
Calvert and St. Mary's counties as part of the effort to patrol
areas with key infrastructure equipment and facilities, such as
transmission lines and substations. "Constellation Energy is
pleased to provide these ATVs to the Maryland Natural Resources
Police so that the department can more efficiently carry out its
vital policing mission," said John R. Collins, senior vice
president and chief risk officer, Constellation Energy. "This
contribution goes hand-in-hand with our commitment to work with the
government in order to safeguard critical infrastructure and our
communities." NRP is an enforcement arm of the Department of
Natural Resources. With 214 officers and a staff of civilian and
volunteer personnel, the department provides conservation and
boating law enforcement duties throughout the state, and such
services as search and rescue, emergency medical education,
information and communications. "Constellation Energy's generous
donation will go a long way in supporting our efforts to protect
vital facilities and ensure the safety of the people we serve,"
said Lieutenant Dave Larsen, Maryland Natural Resources Police.
