Constellation Energy Names David H. Nevins Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer

BALTIMORE, Sept. 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Constellation Energy
(NYSE:CEG) today announced that David H. Nevins has joined the
company as senior vice president and chief marketing officer. In
this newly created position, Nevins is responsible for directing
the development and implementation of an enterprise-wide,
integrated marketing communications and brand strategy. "David is
an exceptional and well-accomplished marketing professional and an
outstanding addition to our senior leadership team," said Mayo A.

president of Nevins & Associates, a Hunt Valley, Md.-based
marketing and public affairs firm that he founded in 1984. Under
his leadership, the firm developed award-winning marketing,
advertising, public affairs and media relations campaigns for an
impressive list of regional and national clients. He will continue
to serve as chairman of the company. Nevins also currently serves
as the chair of the board of regents for the University System of
Maryland, the governing board for 13 public universities in Md. He
previously served as chair of the finance committee, overseeing the
university system's $3 billion budget. Starting in 1995, he served
a four- year term as chairman of the Maryland Public Broadcasting
Commission. In addition, he has provided consulting services for
leading national corporations and served as a marketing advisor to
the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. He earned his undergraduate
degree in business administration from Towson University and a
master's degree in higher education administration from The Johns
