STOCKHOLM--Swedish telecommunications operator Telia Co. AB said Wednesday that it has completed the sale of 49% of its Swedish tower business to Brookfield Infrastructure Group and Alecta following the receipt of all regulatory approvals.

The company agreed to the 5.5 billion Swedish kronor ($563.4 million) sale in January.

With the completion of this transaction, as well as the previous sale of 49% of Telia's Norwegian and Finnish tower business to Brookfield and Alecta, all of its tower assets are now placed in Telia Towers AB, a company 51% owned by Telia and 49% by Brookfield and Alecta.
