Blackstone Real Estate Income Trust, Inc. on Tuesday said in an amended offering it would offer on a continuous basis up to $60 billion in shares of common stock.

In the initial filing on Oct. 8, 2021, the company said it planned on registering $30 billion of securities.

The offering will consist of up to $48 billion in shares in a primary offering and up to $12 billion in shares pursuant to the company's distribution reinvestment plan, Blackstone said.

"We are offering to sell any combination of four classes of shares of our common stock, Class T shares, Class S shares, Class D shares and Class I shares, with a dollar value up to the maximum offering amount," the company said in its filing.
