Placing of 2,500,000 ordinary shares of 1p each at 4p per share


The Board of Bits Corp plc ("Bits Corp" or "the Company"), a leading UK
developer of video games software for major console platforms, is pleased to
announce that a Placing of 2,500,000 ordinary shares at a price of 4p each has
been successfully completed, raising #100,000 before expenses, subject to
admission of the new shares to the Alternative Investment Market of the London
Stock Exchange.



This Placing has been carried out in accordance with the authority limits
conferred upon the Board at the last Annual General Meeting and has been
undertaken in order to provide additional working capital for projects under
development.



As a result of the Placing, the Company will have 43,991,690 ordinary shares in
issue.
