Alltel (NYSE: AT) announced today that its subsidiary, Western Wireless International Austria Corp., has completed the EUR 1.3 billion cash sale of tele.ring, Alltel's Austrian business, to T-Mobile Austria GmbH, a subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom AG. Additionally, Alltel announced that it has completed the sale of its Haitian wireless operations. Terms of the cash transaction were not disclosed.
