"Axcess Radio enables Alltel customers to listen to the music of their choice when and where they want via their wireless phones," said Wade McGill, senior vice president of wireless product management for Alltel. "We think younger customers in particular will love the freedom and convenience of being able to enjoy their favorite music anywhere on America's largest wireless network." Axcess Radio organizes music by genre, including pop, country and rock. The service was developed for Alltel by MobiTV, which also offers the MobiTV(R) Service, both live and made-for-mobile television programming, available on select Alltel handsets.
