Alltel (NYSE: AT) customers now can use their wireless phones to

any song and immediately see on their phones the name of the
artist, title and album," said Wade McGill, vice president of
wireless product management for Alltel. "Customers also have the
option of purchasing a ringtone of the song if available." Song
IDentity is available from Alltel on a variety of handsets. Cost is
99-cents per song identified, or 6 songs for $5.49 or 10 songs for
$8.49. Customers can visit Alltel's Axcess Shop on their wireless
phones to download the service. Alltel is a customer-focused
communications company with more than 15 million customers in 36
