Alltel (NYSE: AT) customers now can play PAC-MAN(R) and Ms. PAC-MAN(R) on their wireless phones. Alltel is offering the games in partnership with Namco America Inc. "PAC-MAN and Ms. PAC-MAN are two of the world's most popular arcade games, and we believe customers will gobble up the chance to play these fun games on their wireless phones," said Wade McGill, vice president of wireless product marketing. PAC-MAN, celebrating his 25th anniversary, and Ms. PAC-MAN are available on a variety of handsets through Alltel. Cost is $2.99 for a monthly subscription and $6.49 for a one-time purchase. Customers can download the games at Alltel's Axcess Shop. Alltel also plans to offer additional arcade classics available through Namco America in the near future.
