AT&T Gets $725 Million Agreement to Modernize Veterans Affairs Dept. Data Network

AT&T Inc. said it was selected by the U.S. Department of
Veterans Affairs for a modernized data communications platform.
AT&T said it was awarded a $725 million-over-12 years task
order.
The company said it will work with the VA to transform its
IP-based data network "to exceed its goals of a highly secure,
scalable, highly available, and resilient technology infrastructure
that can enable rapid cloud adoption."
Advanced capabilities AT&T is providing include wide area
networking, virtual private networking and managed network
services.
