Explanation of Responses:
(1)	The award represents a grant of restricted shares pursuant to the 2015 United Community Financial Corp. Long-Term Incentive Plan (the "Plan"). Under the Plan, 550 restricted shares fully vest on the one year anniversary of the award date and 330 restricted shares fully vest on the two year anniversary of the award date.
(2)	The increase in the total shares reflects a change in form of ownership from direct to indirect.
