Who:

Rick Smith, President and CEO of Trico Bancshares (NASDAQ:TCBK), parent company of Tri Counties Bank. Prior to becoming President and CEO, Mr. Smith began serving Tri Counties Bank in 1993 as Vice President – Supermarket Banking. In 1994, he served as Vice President and Chief Information Officer of the Bank, then in 1995 he became Senior Vice President – Customer/Employee Support and Control, and in 1997 Executive Vice President in the same capacity. Mr. Smith then advanced to President and Chief Operating Officer of the Bank in September 1998.

  Mr. Smith currently serves as president of the Board for the California Bankers Association. He has served on numerous committees for the organization including the Corporate Governance Task Force Committee, Technology Committee and as Chairman of the State Government Relations Committee.
