Elbit Systems of America, LLC, announced that it has won a
$145 million Firm Fixed Price
contract by the United States Department of Homeland Security
Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to supply its
Peregrine™ border security system for the CBP's
Integrated Fixed Tower project. The initial phase, which covers a
portion of the total contract amount, will deploy the Peregrine
system in the Nogales, Arizona
area.
The contract contains options for deployments at other locations
across the Arizona border and
support services. If all options are exercised, the contract
would be performed over a nearly nine-year period.
