Internationale (NASDAQ:DECT) announced today the release of the
results for the first quarter of Fiscal 2005. The Company reported
consolidated net Earnings Per Share of $0.04 versus $0.02 for the
same period last year. Consolidated Revenues for the first quarter
increased by 5.98%, from $9,651,852 for Fiscal 2004 to $10,299,096
for Fiscal 2005. The increase was due primarily to a stronger
presence in the market for indoor pool dehumidification and
commercial refrigeration products and related services. Cost of
Goods Sold increased by 13.16% as a result of the increased costs
of raw materials and aggressive pricing in the commercial IAQ
market segment. Operating Expenses rose by 13% from $2,395,333 in
Fiscal 2004 to $2,707,891 in Fiscal 2005, mainly the result of
increased financial expenses arising from foreign exchange
fluctuations. Mauro Parissi, CFO stated, "The results of our
current consolidation plans and increased revenues in this quarter
have resulted in stronger earnings per share." He further noted
that, "Improvements have led to a more focused management of our
operating cash flow, which increased substantially for the period
under discussion." Dectron Internationale is a global provider of
