Blackstone Group LP (BX), TPG Capital, Carlyle Group LP (CG) and
Temasek Holdings are considering a joint bid for biotechnology
company Life Technologies Corp. (LIFE), Bloomberg News reported
Tuesday, citing people with knowledge of the matter.
Bids are due in April, Bloomberg reported.
Life Technologies has a market capitalization of about $10.6
billion.
Representatives at Life Technologies, TPG, Carlyle and
Blackstone declined comment to Bloomberg. Temasek didn't
immediately respond to requests for comment.
